Since 1972, we’ve been helping builders, joiners, furniture makers and homeowners with specialist woodturning and timber manufacturing from our Christchurch workshop. Today, we continue to produce custom timber components, flitch sanding, table top refurbishment and a growing range of standard woodturned products, all backed by more than 50 years of experience.
A Family Business Since 1972
Warren Woodturners was founded in 1972 by Joe, Mark and John Warren, and remains a family owned and operated business today, now in its third generation.
Built on specialist woodturning, the business has grown to become a trusted timber manufacturer, producing quality timber products for customers throughout New Zealand. While we’ve continued to invest in modern machinery and manufacturing techniques over the years, our commitment to quality craftsmanship, precision and personal service has never changed.
Whether manufacturing a one-off custom component, producing a production run or restoring a well-loved table top, we approach every project with the same care and attention to detail that’s defined Warren Woodturners from the beginning.
Just a few years after establishing Warren Woodturners, Joe, Mark and John went on to found Woodpecker Furniture in 1975. Today, we’re proud to remain the specialist manufacturing business behind Woodpecker Furniture, producing quality New Zealand-made bedroom, dining and living furniture supplied through leading retailers, including Harvey Norman.
